The clinic functions on the basis of its statutes and in accordance with its license granted by the Department of Health of the City of Moscow № ЛО-77-01-000519 of 19.09.2008 and the license granted by the Federal Service for Health and Social Development № 77-01-000785 of 08.09.2005. General Structure of the ClinicThe clinic includes the following departments in its structure:
Information about staff and staffing policyAverage number of staff working in the clinic in July 2009 was 190 who comprised:
Staffing policy supports a very tight control over the quality of recruitment. This includes a demand for very high levels of professional ability, suitable and appropriate experience of the services required, analysis of psychological profile and of a candidate’s personal qualities. Recommendations and references are also taken into consideration and investigated personally. A trial period of 3 months is always agreed with any new member of staff who is then contracted in accordance with the laws of the Russian Federation. The Clinic’s Design and EquipmentThe Clinic has been fitted out with the most modern diagnostic & therapeutic equipment including
Full Computerization. A significant role in the clinic is played by the fact that it is totally computerized. The total number of computers not including portable or lap tops is over 100 units linked in one local network. Functionally they provide automatic services for the doctors and support personnel of the staff. Clinic PolicyThe Clinic’s policy is to provide a complex, integrated or ‘system’ approach to diagnostics and treatment: The detailed information provided on the workings of the body organism as a whole and as an integrated system by using the theory of management of information flows and applying them to a person and their health. Four successful areas of activity can be defined in the clinic:
The years of research which went into creating the methodology used at the clinic led to the formulation of a new diagnostic program, known as the «gold standard» of diagnostics. Opportunities created by the ‘Gold Standard’ for Diagnostics:
«The Gold Standard Diagnostic Program» provides a universal standard for assessment which is appropriate to any type of illness. On the basis of this standard, the clinic has designed special programs which take into account the specific nature of individual illnesses. For example, the program, «Heart & Vascular System» also includes echocardiography (ultrasound visualization of the heart) and doppler ultrasound (ultrasound analysis of the blood vessels). The clinic conducts its diagnostics according to the following programs: «Life without asthma», «Life without allergies and skin disease», «Life without depression and neurosis», «Life without headaches», «Life without diabetes», Life without hypertension», «Heart & Vascular System », «Life without psoriasis», «Aching Legs Syndrome», « Women’s health », «Life without pain in the joints», «Infection under control», «Мen after 40», «Future parents», «No clear diagnosis», «Champion», «Maximum». These programs of integrated medical services are very popular. They enable our patients to receive appropriate and timely medical aid in all areas of the clinic. Any sum of money deposited at the clinic may be used to help family or friends during treatment. For the treatment for patients with chronic illnesses, the clinic uses original methods of systematic, integrated therapy which have been shown to be highly effective in practice. The methodology involves three stages of therapy:
The Day Care Centre at the clinic is constructed on the daisy chain principle. The central part comprises wards for the patients. The patients occupy these as they become free, irrespective of their type particular illness. The ‘petal’s are the consulting rooms of doctors and individual specialists. This principal enables the maximum use of the accommodation. A further unique principle in the organization of the patient care involves the creation of a ‘trusted’ doctor, that it to say, a doctor who has the right to prescribe and who personally is responsible for the total care of the patient. These doctors are highly qualified, a wide clinical experience and a creative and independent approach. On average these doctors are one in five hundred. In ten years of the clinic, there have only been six such doctors. The other doctors act as their assistants and doctors with narrow specialisms perform the role of consultants. The successful work of the clinic is also closely associated with its collaboration with the Moscow Institute of Cybernetic Medicine (МICМ) This provides research facilities to complement the medical practice of the clinic. The main focus of this seeks to provide new diagnostic equipment and methodology. It includes research into the effects of magnetic, electro-magnetic, electrical field, and water-soluble products on a person’s state of health. The Institute also researches into information and technical issues and computerized programs; the effective organization of management of a medical institution, the systematization and future of clinical practice and all its related issues. The work of the Institute has been rewarded with many patents. The number of important works which the Institute has done for the Clinic include the following:
The clinic has an efficient document system which creates a document trail for the patient as he progresses from point to point in the diagnostic system. This includes rooms for procedures and for physiotherapy. The principle is based on the need to economize on the patient’s time and energy which is particularly appreciated by business people. According to data provided by information agencies, such as Gallup Media and Ros-Media Consulting, the clinic is positioned as one of the leading, dynamically developing treatment centres of the Russian Federation. Its activity has drawn support and awards from many sources. The clinic has been especially successful in treating such illnesses as:
Types of Patients TreatedBy Illness:

This reveals the success of the clinic.
The continued expansion of the clinic will be reflected in the expansion of its infrastructure and the effective use of its functional potential which it has already established. Further purchases of new technology and equipment for diagnostics are already planned. In connection with this it is planned to create a modern diagnostics laboratory using light sources produced by very highly specified new equipment, such as digital 24 hour patient care, functioning on the daisy principle, a ward for reanimation, a system of distance monitoring of patient health on the basis of modern telecommunications technology.
